PM:CH In USA - availability in EU and next games

Dear backer,
As you've no doubt noticed, the COVID situation came and caused quite some delays in the wider spread availability of Cannibal's Howl in the USA. That has been finally fixed and we will see Cannibal's Howl in selected retail stores and it is again available for delivery also from our own store.
The German/Spanish edition is close to being sold out in the EU. So those who'd like to get their copy, it would be advisable to do so now. German/Spanish version is available via Spiele-Offensive, our store and a wide variety of local retail stores.
We'd like to also remind every Perdition's Mouth fan that our brand new stand-alone card game, set in Zanziar and continuing the adventures of the very same heroes you've learned to love is now on Kickstarter and funded after only 6 hours.
Help us to unlock Tyra to accompany Elisa, Bastian, Niffil and Olazabál and join the new adventures.

Surveys, Games Raffle, Seasonal Greetings and next Kickstarter

Dear friends, colleagues, backers and gamers,
Warmest Christmas Greetings from Finnish Laplands. It has been very positive to notice that we’ll get replies to my Master’s Thesis survey daily and by now about 150 replies have arrived. We’ll keep the survey open until 7th January 2020 as agreed and hope to reach 200+ replies, so if you haven’t filled the survey, please do so now. We will STILL donate a single Dwarf (pre-order) between all of those who reply before the survey closes.
Todays’ speciality, however, is the Christmas Day Games Raffle we promised for those who bravely filled both of the two surveys. There are a bit below a hundred replies with addresses and using random number generator following five winners were drawn:

We are celebrating seasonal holidays at home, in Northern Finland (Aska) where this year brought record snow (almost 90 cm already) and as we live in Northside of Arctic Circle, we will see the sun in a week - if we are lucky.

December 2019 Update

All of the Perdition's Mouth: Cannibal's Howl orders, but 17 have been sent within the last two weeks. There are few things that seemingly are worth reminding:
- Unless you separately selected "with tracking" your shipment is sent via Deutche Post as untracked mail. That takes usually around 7-10 days to reach Europe and some extra days to USA and Canada.
- The miniature in the box is not broken. It is provided in parts, just as the project description explains. You must use superglue to glue it.
- There are a few mixups with language. If you get a box in the wrong language, please contact me via email.
- The orders that are still pending are all orders which have either Aisha, Painted Örn or Painted Victim #1. Those wait for miniatures to find their way to correct warehouse.
So when should you get worried? If you have not received your order by 17th December 2019, PLEASE contact us within ONE WEEK of date so we can file a missing parcel request. As this IS Christmas season, posts all around the world must be packed with parcels so some delays are possible.
We have prepared two surveys, one general one for scientific purposes, about the ideals of board game creation and a really brief one about our upcoming ‘Gray Eminence’ game. For every 25 participants in these surveys, we will put a game into a grand prize draw. This draw for your free games will be, appropriately enough, on 25th December. This allows almost three weeks for you to reply for your chance to win. The surveys will stay open after the prize draw until 7th January 2020 and in that time we would still appreciate your help. We sincerely hope you will participate at some point.
2020 brings new challenges as we are (finally) aiming to take the step into bigger circles and to produce more than just a single game product. In fact, 2020 brings a lot of interesting new things:
- Gray Eminence Kickstarter 2.2.2020 20:20 CET. Our first foray into the world of topical, political games. Essen feedback can be summarized as “This is so thematic and nothing we have seen before!”. There will be a bunch of reviews before the Kickstarter.
- Dwarf by Lee Broderick (in English, Spanish and German) is now being printed and will be available for delivery in May 2020. Pre-order it here.
- Soul Spire, the last, and by far the largest, expansion for Perdition’s Mouth will be kickstarted in Q2/2020. The exact date will be announced after the Gray Eminence Kickstarter has finished. Make sure you are on our mailing list to stay informed.
- We also have two new prototypes for you to try out at Essen Spiel 2020, where you’ll find us at the usual spot from the back wall of Hall 2 - but now with a larger booth!
And, finally, after Essen 2020 we are happy to announce Singularity Sky, based on the book of the same name by Charles Stross will be coming to Kickstarter. It’s been a long road, but we believe the quality and finished game flow will be worth the extra wait.
Cannibal on the Horizon

We’re pleased to bring you good news.
First of all, Perdition's Mouth: Cannibal’s Howl has arrived in Germany. We believe all the English games will be shipped next week (November 25th-29th), with the German version following the week after that (December 2nd - 9th). This includes the German copies ordered through the Spieleschmiede campaign.
We are not happy it is a bit later than originally promised but the production error, that caused the delay, would have probably made you unhappy - just as we were when we saw it.
For some unknown reason the rondel shields markers were produced off-scale - much smaller than they should have been. Problems like this happen to all projects and we are glad, that our manufacturer did not try to duck responsibility and immediately started fixing the issue. Such an approach is not as common as it should be.
DDP Other Projects
Our other game from Zanziar - Dwarf - is now available for pre-order.
Currently we are working on a new game called Gray Eminence. It is a competitive game about today’s politics, where players are persons of significant power who try to shape the world to their liking. Just like in the real world they are very honest, trustworthy and have the good of everyone in mind - like the politicians you can vote for today.
A week of delay

Dear backers,
It is mid-October and we know that you’re anxiously waiting for your Cannibal’s Howl. Sadly there is a small delay. When inspecting the final production sample we found an error that required fixing. Luckily our Spanish manufacturers are responsive and quick. The error is being corrected this week and we’ll get the games en route to Germany within the next week.
So, you will find PM:CH at Essen Spiel and fulfilment will be right after Essen, as our whole warehouse crew is in Essen for the whole of next week.
We’re truly sorry that we’ll be about a week late from our promise of October 2019 delivery for Cannibal’s Howl. But we believe this is better than a production error in the box.
We hope to see you in Essen Spiel in booth 2-B101! There you’ll be able to see an advanced prototype of Perdition’s Mouth: Soul Spire, the next Perdition’s Mouth instalment we aim to Kickstart early 2020. All our other upcoming games, such as Singularity Sky and Gray Eminence, will also be on display and possible to demo at Essen Spiel.
